Maison East is a 31-story residential apartment building, located in the heart of Manhattan’s Upper East Side at 1438 Third Avenue at 81st street that BSD purchased in 2005. BSD purchased the building, comprised mostly of studio, one and two bedroom fair market apartments, with the plan to completely reconfigure the 147 apartments. The consolidation program netted a 95 unit building consisting of 40 one bedrooms, 13 two-bedrooms, 36 three-bedrooms, 5 four bedrooms and a penthouse. All units were constructed with high end finishes and appliances. Almost all of the 95 apartment units feature balconies or terraces. The basement features a play room and additional storage for rent by the owners.
